Jack is one of the most dedicated bootleggers we have met to date. Jack has been hard at work since early 01 traveling across the great state of Kansas to record live performances of us. He has given me several different mini-discs of shows spanning from Skalloween 4 in Garden City to the Bottleneck in early 2002. Jack has also provided me with bootlegs of our El Torreon (KC)/Riggs Park (Haysville) Weekend. That was the weekend that I was really sick and ended up in the hospital with pneumonia. The Doctors tell me that my lung had partially collapsed from fluid build up around my lung... so I was most likely singing on 1 and 1/2 lungs....

We are hard at work narrowing down the track selections. Look for this release by December 2002!

Notes on the album:
Kirby's Beer Store is a small bar located on 17th and Hillside in Wichita Kansas. The bar has been standing for many, many years... and hopefully will be standing for many more. We started playing Kirby's in 1996 and have called it our home away from home ever since. The bar truly is the size of most apartment living rooms and the stage is very small... but at least once a month you can find 7 of us crammed up there having a a sweaty good time. This bootleg is a tribute to a night in the life of Ophil and Kirby's Beer Store!

This was the last Cotillion show that we played. The MU330 show was the last time MU has played in Wichita also.

The bonus track with Kidd Chris was a rendition of red eyes glowing with Kidd Chris on turn tables and the rest of us rapping and acting as if we're hard... it was fun... we had a lot of good times with Chris in the studio...
